Introduction of Computer
A computer is a very useful electronic machine created by humans. We’re aware of the importance of Computers in our daily life. In today’s world, every profession has everything or something to do with a computer.
The “Computer” word comes from the “Compute“, which means to calculate.
In simple words “A computer is an electronic device that receives input, stores and manipulates data, and provides output in a useful format”.
A computer user can input data, use reports, and even program in a high-level language without understanding anything about computers, arithmetic, and internal data representation. However, gaining a solid understanding of computers will provide a really useful exposure to the present concept of knowledge representation information.
The computer operates only with devices with two-state electronic switches that are open or closed, electric pulse high or low, magnetized elements that have one or two directions or polarity. Computer input can be a decimal number or an alphabet or a special character. The computer must store ten different numeric digits, 26 alphabetic characters, and more than 20 special characters. These must be a method of coding numerical data for communication.

A computer is a device that takes Input such as numbers, text, sound, images, animation, videos, etc. It converts/processes and returns processed input as output, all numbers, text, image, and video used as input are called data, and all numbers, text, given as output, Sound, and video are called information.
